Antique follows the story of Jin-hyuk, a wealthy heir who quits his job to open a cake shop called 'Antique' in a quiet neighborhood. Despite having no interest in sweets, he hires Sun-woo, a legendary pâtissier who was once his high school classmate and harbors a secret crush on him. The shop's staff is rounded out by Gi-beom, a former boxer with a voracious appetite for cakes, and Su-young, Jin-hyuk's clumsy but loyal bodyguard. As the four men work together, the shop becomes a sanctuary for their personal growth and healing. Each character grapples with traumatic memories—ranging from childhood kidnapping to unrequited love and professional failure. Through the process of baking and serving customers, they form an unconventional family, learning to confront their pasts and find sweetness in their complicated lives.
