Based on the bestselling memoir 'Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea' by comedian Chelsea Handler, this sitcom follows the life of Chelsea Newman, a strong-willed, opinionated, and perpetually unfiltered young woman navigating her twenties in New Jersey. Working as a cocktail waitress, Chelsea constantly finds herself in chaotic situations fueled by her impulsive nature and her refusal to conform to societal expectations. Alongside her best friend Olivia and her more conservative sister Sloane, Chelsea attempts to balance her wild social life with the realities of adulthood. The series explores themes of friendship, dating, and the struggle to maintain one's identity while dealing with the pressures of family and career, all delivered through Chelsea's signature biting wit and irreverent perspective on life.
