Devious Maids follows the lives of five ambitious and closely-knit maids working for the wealthiest and most powerful families in Beverly Hills. While they clean the homes of the elite, they are privy to the darkest secrets, scandals, and lies that define the lives of their employers. The series begins with the murder of a beloved maid, Flora Hernandez, which sets off a chain of events that exposes the corruption and hidden agendas within the gated community. As the maids navigate their personal struggles—ranging from forbidden romances and immigration issues to career aspirations—they find themselves entangled in the dangerous mysteries of their wealthy bosses. Led by Marisol Suarez, who infiltrates the group under a false identity to clear her son's name, the women rely on their wit, resilience, and bond of sisterhood to survive the treacherous social hierarchy of Beverly Hills.
