Moon Gang-tae is a hardworking community health worker at a psychiatric ward who has dedicated his entire life to caring for his older brother, Moon Sang-tae, who has autism. Burdened by childhood trauma and the demands of constant caregiving, Gang-tae lives a life devoid of personal desires or romance. His world is upended when he crosses paths with Ko Moon-young, a wildly successful yet antisocial children's book author afflicted with an antisocial personality disorder. As Moon-young develops an intense fixation on Gang-tae, she relentlessly pursues him, forcing her way into his guarded life. Simultaneously, Sang-tae becomes a devoted fan of her books. Through a series of dark fairy tales and emotional confrontations, the trio, along with Gang-tae's loyal friend Joo-ri, gradually heal their deep-seated psychological wounds, confront the haunting mysteries of their pasts, and discover the true meaning of family, love, and emotional freedom.
