Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 bridges the gap between past and present by adapting two of the manga's most pivotal arcs: the 'Hidden Inventory / Premature Death' arc and the infamous 'Shibuya Incident' arc. The first half explores Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto's student days in 2006, revealing the tragic events and ideological fractures that turned the once-close friends into bitter enemies. The second half shifts back to the present, where Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki are thrust into a massive, meticulously planned Halloween night ambush in Shibuya orchestrated by Kenjaku and various cursed spirits. As barriers trap hundreds of civilians and sorcerers alike, the Jujutsu society faces catastrophic losses, betrayals, and the sealing of the strongest sorcerer alive, Satoru Gojo.
