Live follows the daily lives of officers at the Hongil Police Division, a busy precinct that handles everything from petty crimes to high-stakes emergencies. The story centers on Han Jung-oh and Yeom Sang-soo, two probationary officers who struggle to navigate the harsh realities of the police force while dealing with personal financial struggles, systemic corruption, and the emotional toll of their demanding profession. Unlike traditional police procedurals that focus on grand conspiracies, Live provides a grounded, humanistic look at the 'civil servants' of the law. It explores the complex relationships between veteran officers and rookies, the pressure of maintaining public order, and the internal conflicts that arise when the line between duty and morality becomes blurred. The series is celebrated for its realistic portrayal of the sacrifices made by those who serve on the front lines of society.
