Miss Sherlock is a Japanese mystery drama that reimagines Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic detective characters in modern-day Tokyo. The series follows Sara 'Sherlock' Shelly Futaba, a brilliant but eccentric investigative consultant who assists the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department in solving bizarre and complex crimes. Her sharp intellect and unconventional methods often clash with the traditional police force, making her a polarizing figure in the city's criminal justice landscape. Sherlock is joined by Dr. Wato Tachibana, a surgeon who has recently returned from a volunteer medical mission in Syria. As the two form an unlikely partnership, they navigate the dark underbelly of Tokyo, unraveling intricate conspiracies and facing off against a shadowy criminal mastermind. The series blends classic deductive storytelling with a sleek, contemporary Japanese aesthetic, exploring themes of trauma, friendship, and the pursuit of truth.
