My Father is Strange

My Father is Strange follows the lives of Byun Han-soo and Na Young-sil, a devoted couple running a small snack shop in Seoul, and their four children. Their peaceful, middle-class life is turned upside down when Ahn Joong-hee, a former idol-turned-actor, arrives at their home claiming to be Han-soo's long-lost son. As Joong-hee attempts to integrate into the family, he struggles with his identity and his burgeoning feelings for the family's second daughter, Mi-young. Beyond the central mystery of Joong-hee's parentage, the series explores the distinct lives and romantic entanglements of the four Byun siblings. From the eldest daughter's career struggles and the second daughter's job-hunting woes to the complex legal and romantic life of the third daughter, the show masterfully balances comedic family dynamics with poignant drama. As secrets from the past begin to surface, the family must confront the truth about their father's history and what it truly means to be a family.
