Racket Boys follows the journey of a group of middle school students in a rural village who dream of becoming badminton stars. Yoon Hae-kang, a former city-dwelling child prodigy, moves to the countryside with his father, a coach who takes over a struggling badminton team on the brink of disbandment. As they navigate the challenges of adolescence, intense competition, and the pressure of the sport, the boys learn the true meaning of teamwork, friendship, and perseverance. The series beautifully balances the competitive spirit of the badminton court with the charm of rural life. Alongside the boys' team, the story highlights the girls' badminton team at a nearby school, led by the talented Han Se-yoon. Together, these young athletes support one another through personal growth, family struggles, and the pursuit of their athletic dreams, ultimately proving that their bond is stronger than any match result.
