Soul Mechanic

Soul Mechanic is a heartwarming medical drama that delves into the psychiatrists and staff at Eulsong Hospital who strive to heal the emotional wounds and mental illnesses of their patients. The series centers around Lee Shi-joon, an eccentric yet passionate psychiatrist who uses unconventional, sometimes unorthodox methods to connect with those suffering from psychological pain. Alongside him is Han Woo-joo, a rising musical actress with intense emotional volatility, intermittent explosive disorder, and a deep-seated fear of abandonment. As Shi-joon and Woo-joo's paths cross, they embark on a profound healing journey together. Shi-joon helps Woo-joo navigate her emotional storms and find her true voice, while Woo-joo's presence challenges Shi-joon to confront his own hidden scars and vulnerabilities. The series gracefully balances clinical accuracy with deep empathy, exploring themes of trauma, self-forgiveness, and the belief that true healing comes from understanding rather than just medication.
