Overview

Oh In-young is a struggling former idol group member whose career is on a downward spiral. Desperate for publicity and television exposure, she agrees to star in a fake reality TV program called "Experience-Challenging Daughter-in-Law," where she must pretend to be the daughter-in-law of a traditional, strict headstrong clan matriarch, Yang Choon-ja. What begins as a scripted battle of wits and staged domestic chores quickly spirals into authentic cultural clashes and unexpected emotional bonds. Choon-ja, who fiercely guards her family's traditions, finds herself at constant odds with In-young's modern, rebellious, and clumsy personality. However, as they navigate the absurdities of the show and hidden family secrets emerge, the fake relationship morphs into a genuine test of empathy, resilience, and unconventional family love.
