The Ideal City

The Ideal City follows the turbulent professional and personal journey of Su Xiao, a dedicated and talented cost engineer in the high-stakes world of modern Chinese architecture and construction. After taking the blame for a safety and bidding scandal she did not cause, she loses her job and faces immense professional setbacks, yet refuses to compromise her principles and integrity. Determined to rebuild her career, she climbs her way back up through sheer grit and exceptional professional acumen, eventually entering the top-tier Tianxing Construction company. There, she finds herself entangled in ruthless corporate power struggles, internal politics, and a complex professional relationship with the company's brilliant and pragmatic CEO, Xia Ming. As Su Xiao navigates rigged bids, corrupt executives, and deep-seated industry traditions, she strives not only to prove her worth but to construct an 'ideal city' built on fairness, truth, and genuine architectural value.
