The New Adventures of Beans Baxter

The New Adventures of Beans Baxter is an action-comedy series that follows the life of Benjamin 'Beans' Baxter, a typical high school teenager whose world is turned upside down when his mother, Susan, is revealed to be a secret agent for a clandestine government organization known as 'The Agency.' After his mother is kidnapped, Beans is recruited by the organization to take her place, forcing him to balance the mundane struggles of adolescence with the high-stakes, dangerous world of international espionage. Throughout the series, Beans must navigate missions involving global threats, eccentric villains, and the constant pressure of keeping his double life a secret from his friends and classmates. Guided by his handler, Mr. Number, and aided by his younger brother, Scott, Beans relies on his wits and a series of gadgets to survive. The show is noted for its unique blend of teen sitcom tropes and spy-thriller parody, capturing the absurdity of a suburban kid thrust into the center of Cold War-era intrigue.
