Set in a sprawling high-fantasy world where magic exists but can only be accessed by certain women, the story follows Moiraine, a member of the powerful all-female organization known as the Aes Sedai. She arrives in the small village of Two Rivers and embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn—a figure destined to either save the world or destroy it entirely. As the group navigates political intrigue, ancient prophecies, and the encroaching shadow of the Dark One, they must grapple with their own destinies and the heavy burden of the power they wield. The series explores themes of balance, fate, and the struggle between light and darkness, as the characters are tested by internal conflicts and external threats that could unravel the very fabric of reality.
