WeCrashed is a limited series inspired by the actual events surrounding the meteoric rise and catastrophic fall of WeWork, one of the world's most valuable startups. The narrative centers on the charismatic and eccentric founder Adam Neumann and his wife and partner, Rebekah Neumann, whose unconventional leadership and messianic vision helped grow the company from a single co-working space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. As the company expands, the series delves into the toxic corporate culture, the couple's volatile relationship, and the reckless financial decisions that ultimately led to a chaotic valuation collapse. Through the lens of their intense partnership, the show explores the intersection of ambition, narcissism, and the 'fake it 'til you make it' mentality that defined the tech-startup boom of the 2010s.
