Day Break

Overview

Day Break follows Detective Brett Hopper, a Los Angeles police detective who finds himself trapped in a nightmarish time loop. After being framed for the murder of Assistant District Attorney Alberto Garza, Hopper wakes up on the same day—the day of his arrest—repeatedly. Each morning, he is jolted awake at 6:17 AM to the same song on the radio, forced to relive the same twenty-four hours while trying to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy that has destroyed his life. As Hopper navigates the loop, he must piece together clues, evade corrupt colleagues, and protect his girlfriend, Rita Shelten, from the shadowy figures orchestrating his downfall. With each reset, he gains new information and skills, allowing him to alter his path, but the complexity of the conspiracy grows as he realizes that almost everyone in his life may be involved in the plot against him.
