Series Overview

Based on the globally acclaimed video game franchise, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. The narrative follows Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller whose peaceful life is upended by a rescue mission; Maximus, a young soldier serving in the militaristic faction known as the Brotherhood of Steel; and The Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter with a centuries-long history. As their paths converge, they uncover the dark secrets of the Vault-Tec Corporation and the true nature of the society that emerged from the ashes of nuclear war.
