Set in 1990s Berlin, the series follows art student Jri Fröhlein and hacker Carsten Schlüter, who invent a revolutionary 3D mapping technology called Terra Vision. Their creation allows users to seamlessly fly over a digital representation of the entire globe. Years later, they discover that tech giant Google has allegedly stolen their patented algorithm to create Google Earth. Decades after their initial breakthrough, Jri and Carsten find themselves teaming up once again, this time as plaintiffs in a monumental high-stakes copyright infringement lawsuit in a U.S. federal court against Google.
